Mr. Auer is a retired federal agent with over 33 years of service, 20 years of which was in senior leadership positions.

He served as the Chief-of-Staff in two different federal law enforcement agencies, and retired from federal service as the Chief of the Leadership Institute for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers, an Agency within the Department of Homeland Security.

In this capacity, he was the Senior Manager responsible for the overall development, delivery and administration of the FLETC’s leadership training programs and research, providing services to over 90 law enforcement Partner Organizations and related stakeholders.

In August of 2018, Mr. Auer received certification from the Office of Personnel Management for his executive core qualifications, making him eligible for non-competitive selection to the Senior Executive Service. He is a certified train-the-trainer for Disc and Motivators and Emotional Intelligence Assessments.
